Straightening

We offer an unbeatable level of quality when it comes to structural repairs to your alloys.
First Aid Wheels can repair bent alloy wheels in a few hours or next day service at the worst (for badly buckled alloys).

Straightening cost:
- Standard service (wheel off the car, without the tyre) - from £60 + VAT
- Plus service (wheel off the car, with the tyre) - from £70 + VAT
- Premium service (car on site / courtesy wheel provided) - from £80 + VAT

Corrosion cleaning

Alloy Wheel Inspection

It is better to look over the tyres and wheels while they are on the car than not to inspect them at all. But for a thorough examination of the inside walls, the wheels should be taken off about once a year.
Once the wheel is taken off it is much easier to see if there are any cracks or structural damage.
Your wheels will be tested to check for any bends, buckles or cracks.
Every time we carry out an inspection we also check the general condition of the tyre - not only is it against the law to drive a vehicle with tyres below the legal limit, it’s also a major safety risk.

Puncture repair

Punctures can be repaired providing they meet with British Standard AU159. Upon inspection of the tyre, our technician will be able to advise you if your tyre falls into this category. Tyres can only be repaired in the central area of the tyre - the sidewalls are not repairable, and for V rated tyres and above, only one repair is allowed. However, before any repair is carried out, the tyre must be fully inspected for any signs of internal damage which could cause tyre failure.
